About Me

My name is Lin and I’ve been a very imaginative person since I was very young. In fact, I still have family members ask me about stories I would come up with on the fly when I was 4 or 5 years old. I still believe in Neverland and Wonderland and am still looking for a way to get to either one. Since I could hold a pencil, I wanted to be an artist. Sure, I would come up with normal things to tell people that I wanted to be, but I always knew I wanted to be a
real artist.

When I’m not pretending to be an adult, I’m lost in my own little world and dreaming of what to create next. My primary median is fabric and acrylic paint, but also work in pencil, pen and just about anything else I can get my hands on. My mom showed me how to use a sewing machine once when I was young and from then on I just made it up as I went. I draw inspiration from many things like my 2 cats, Luna B and Simba, Tim Burton, Disney, fairy tales and myths of all kinds and of course random conversations with Shadow (the boyfriend).

I live in Washington state not far outside of Seattle. When I’m not getting lost in the forest at my parents’ house, I’m wondering the cemetery near my work or somewhere lost downtown or at the doll museum in Bellevue. I love it here right down to the rain. It always gives an excuse to put on my beloved apron and work in my borrowed craft room.
